MC Mask
The Mary Catterall (MC) mask (described 1967) was extremely popular for oxygen therapy, until replaced by the moulded plastic type in the 1990s. Some believe the foam surround made these masks the most comfortable of all to wear. Produced in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Mary Cattarall was a Lecturer in Clinical Physiology at the Respiratory Function Unit of the Middlesex Hospital in London.
